The purpose of this programme is to ensure the safe loading, conveying, and off-loading of dangerous goods according to legal and organisational requirements. Credited learners can convey dangerous goods following legal, safety, manufacturer, and other relevant requirements and handle incidents safely when they occur.
- Module 1: Comply with relevant legal documentation requirements behaviour on the route
- Module 2: Apply safety and standard operating procedures during loading and off-loading in terms of SANS
- Module 3: Apply safety procedures in the event of an incident
- Module 4: Comply with the requirements of SANS 10231
- Duration: 1 Day

During the workshop, participants will be briefed on how to prepare and present a Portfolio of Evidence for assessment.
After attendance of the course and successful completion of both formative and summative assessments, the learner will be issued with a Certificate of Competence. This unit standard is SETA-accredited and internationally recognised.
